Sidney Sheldon is an author, who came from the United States and obtained many awards in his career. In 1969, Sheldon wrote his first novel, The Naked Face won Edgar Allan Poe award for best first novel from the Mystery Writers of America. The next novel, The Other Side Of Midnight, grabbed the first position in the list of bestselling novels in the New York Times.
